Q: WHAT IS MAIL COMM, INC?
A: We have been in business since 1984 in Baton Rouge, LA. We started as a
mail house to service printers. As we grew our customer demand grew and
we now offer all aspects of direct mail with a specialty on using direct mail
         to increase business.
Q: WHAT IS A PERMIT, METER IMPRINT, STAMPS?
A: There are three ways to pay your postage. 1. stamp 2. meter 3. permit.
The permit is a familiar box style bit of information in the top upper right
hand of a letter which tells the postmaster the class of mail, where it was
mailed and what the account number is. A permit is like a checking account
at the post office. The way the money is withdrawn is by entering a mailing
at the post office and having the postage dollars removed from the account.
Q: IS THE DELIVERY TIME THE SAME USING STANDARD AS FIRST CLASS MAIL?
A: No. First class takes priority over standard mail. The USPS wants to deliver
all mail as soon as possible, but the carriers are restricted to what they can
carry in a day. After first class is handled, the carrier takes the periodical and
standard mail. If they cannot get it all in, the periodical and standard mail is
          put aside.
